Colo'd is short for colocated. Colocation is a service in which a
company will connect a server that you own to the internet. You
typically lease space and internet connectivity for your server from the
colocation provider. I've got a server colocated at n|Frame (the
colocation provider in Carmel that CINLUG used to meet at)

A colocated box is not automatically exempt from being blocked on spam
blocking lists but an IP address that belongs to a colocation provider
shouldn't appear on a dialup block list.
