It's a multi-Linux world!

Have you ever wondered which GNU/Linux distribution to use?  Or perhaps you have compelling reasons to use more than one or two.  You can keep wearing all your different distribution hats and still manage them all sanely -- with Uyuni[1]!

Uyuni is the rolling upstream of SUSE Multi-Linux Manager[2].  SUSE Product Manager Don Vosburg[3] will show the latest Uyuni management server in action!  Learn how you can deploy it using Podman and tame your many distros effectively.  Ask any questions you may have, and enjoy some time to see how you might benefit from such a tool.

The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT on Wednesday, July 2nd.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting[4] for hosting our meetings at their facility[5].  (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.)  The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL[6] for those who cannot attend in person.  (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month, so please block that night off in your calendar to keep it available.  (At the September meeting, Neal Gompa will speak on Btrfs.  We are still looking for an August presenter.)  You are also encouraged to sign up for our mailing lists[7] and follow us on various social media sites to receive announcements and participate in discussions.

[3] Don Vosburg has been in the IT industry for over 30 years in a
    wide variety of roles.  Don’s experiences as a system
    administrator, architect, presenter, and product manager are
    augmented by industry certifications from SUSE, Red Hat, Cisco,
    and others.
    For nearly 20 years, he has been at SUSE, which fits well with his
    passion for open source software.  Don’s real-world Linux
    experience spans a broad set of platforms, hypervisors, and
    clouds.
    As a the product manager for SUSE Manager, Don is SUSE’s point
    person for systems management in North America.  He is a key
    member of the roadmap planning and use-case testing teams, and a
    committed member of the Uyuni project community.
