Michael Schultheiss[1] will present on Linux Gaming with ChimeraOS[2] at the February Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) meeting

ChimeraOS is an Arch Linux-based distribution similar to Valve's SteamOS 3.0 which powers Valve's Steam Deck hardware and allows one to turn a PC into a gaming console.  Like the mythical creature from Greek mythology (which, traditionally, is an animal that consists of the parts of a lion, goat and snake), ChimeraOS includes not only access to Valve's Steam library but the ability to install additional features via FlatPaks.

The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EST on Wednesday, February 7th.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting[3] for hosting our meetings at their facility[4].  (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.)   The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL[5] for those who cannot attend in person.  (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month.  Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available!

    Access Management team at Elevance Health, one of the largest
    healthcare companies in the world.  He has been using Linux since
    1995 and has a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University.
    He lives in Central Indiana with his wife, Krissy, and their
    children.  Michael is the president of CINLUG.
