[Announce] March CINLUG Meeting -- LVM Advanced Features

Join Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) next week for a talk on Logical Volume Manager (LVM), with a focus on some of its advanced features.

While many of us are familiar with the basics of LVM -- and probably use it everyday in our GNU/Linux systems -- there are advanced aspects that some may not have used:  thinly-provisioned logical volumes, snapshotting and cache volumes.  Bernie Hoefer[1] will present on and demonstrate these abilities so you can see if they'd be of use to you in your setups.

The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EST on Wednesday, March 6th.


CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting[2] for hosting our meetings at their facility[3].  (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.)   The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL[4] for those who cannot attend in person.  (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month.  Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available!
