[Announce] January 3, 2018 CINLUG General Meeting

The January meeting of CINLUG, the Central Indiana Linux Users' Group,
is scheduled for 6:00PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.  The meeting is
being held at the Glendale Mall branch of the Indianapolis Public
Library (IndyPL) - 6101 N. Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Michael Schultheiss  will be
giving a presentation on FreedomBox. FreedomBox is designed to be your
own inexpensive server at home. It runs free software and offers an
increasing number of services ranging from a calendar or jabber server
to a wiki or VPN. Its web interface allows you to easily install and
configure your apps. Be your own host rather than relying on third
party, closed services! More information is available at

Next month, CINLUG will hold elections for its Board of Directors. If
you're interested in serving on the CINLUG board, please let us know.

CINLUG meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month
They start at 6:00pm and the presentations usually last about 1 - 1.5
hours. The meeting is usually followed by an open discusion for any
questions you may have about anything.

Annual dues are $30, collected each February and prorated biannually.
Paid membership is _not_ required for attendance, but are encouraged to
help with funding events and expenses.  For more information on the
