The 13th annual Ohio LinuxFest is coming up on Friday and Saturday
October 2-3, 2015 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center! We have a
full schedule of events planned.
Please note that hotel rooms are going fast - we have limited room
blocks available - book soon!
On Friday, the Ohio LinuxFest Institute professional training returns
with topics like Docker, OpenStack, IPv6, and Project Atomic. You need
to sign up for Professional registration to attend these - at $450 it's
a bargain compared to training offered at most other conferences. Also,
for those who attend the LPI cram session, we will include a voucher to
the LPI exam for only $99!
If that isn't your bag, all levels of registration, including the free
Enthusiast registration, get you access to the Early Penguins talks
running on Friday. Please consider a paid registration as that allows us
to do more for you. We are also pleased to host the Ally Skills Workshop
on Friday for those interested in seeing more women participate in the
Free and Open Source Software community.
Our Friday keynote by Alan Robertson will be followed by a happy hour
held in our sponsor expo, a perfect opportunity to hang out with old
friends and make new ones! The evening continues with our Birds of a
Feather sessions and winds up with Dinner with the Keynotes - tickets
for the dinner are limited, so purchase one for your registration today.
Valerie Aurora kicks us off on Saturday, leading into six simultaneous
tracks of talks, including the return of the Career Track and Open
Source Solutions Stage. The sponsor expo will be open all day Saturday
and Lightning Talks will make a return appearance, followed by a closing
keynote by Jorge Castro!
Things conclude with our after party, included with Professional and
Supporting registration or available as an add-on to Enthusiast
registration. As a special treat we'll be livestreaming the Free
Software Foundation's 30th birthday celebration from Boston, including
an address by Richard Stallman!
We still have sponsorships and plenty of time to create a sponsorship
package best suited for your needs. Check out our prospectus and reach
out if you're interested, we'd love to chat more.
Thanks to our platinum sponsors HP, Google, FusionStorm, and Dell. Also
to our gold sponsors CoverMyMeds, IBM, and JumpMind. Without the support
of our sponsors, Ohio LinuxFest would not be possible.
