[Announce] April 6, 2011 CINLUG Meeting at Glendale Branch, IMCPL

*Note* Due to changes in the library's operating hours, CINLUG meetings
will start at 6:00 PM rather than 6:30 PM

The April meeting of CINLUG, the Central Indiana Linux Users' Group,
is scheduled for 6:00PM on Wednesday,  April 6, 2011.  The meeting is
being held at the Glendale Mall branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County
Public Library (IMCPL) - 6101 N. Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis, IN
46220.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Michael Schultheiss will be
giving a presentation on Unity. Unity is a shell interface for the GNOME
deskyop environment developed by Canonical, Ltd. for its Ubuntu
operating system. Unity debuted in the netbook edition of Ubuntu 10.10.
It is designed to make more efficient use of space given the limited
screen size of netbooks. Canonical announced it had engineered Unity for
desktop computers as well and is making Unity the default shell for
Ubuntu in version 11.04.

Unity is party of the Ayatana project, an initiative to improve the user
experience within Ubuntu.

CINLUG meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month
They start at 6:00pm and the presentations usually last about 1 - 1.5
hours. The meeting is usually followed by an open discusion for any
questions you may have about anything.

Annual dues are $30, collected each February and prorated biannually.
Paid membership is _not_ required for attendance, but are encouraged to
help with funding events and expenses.  For more information on the
