[Announce] April 1, 2009 CINLUG Meeting at Glendale Branch, IMCPL

The April meeting of CINLUG, the Central Indiana Linux Users' Group,
is scheduled for 6:30PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.  The meeting is
being held at the Glendale Mall branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County
Public Library (IMCPL) - 6101 N. Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis, IN
46220.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting.  Matt Jonkman from Emerging
Threats will be discussing what's new in Snort, the Open Information
Security Foundation, and Emerging Threats.  

SNORT® is an open source network intrusion prevention and detection
system utilizing a rule-driven language, which combines the benefits of
signature, protocol and anomaly based inspection methods - more
information on Snort is available at http://www.snort.org.

The Open Information Security Foundation was formed primarily to begin
the development of a new IDS/IPS engine.  More information is available
at http://www.openinfosecfoundation.org

Emerging Threats is an open source community project. Through the
support of its community they are able to produce the fastest moving and
most diverse Snort Signature set and firewall rules available.  Matt
Jonkman manages the project.  More information is available at
