[Announce] CINLUG announces the Summer 2005 Desktop Linux Boot Camp

CINLUG, the Central Indiana Linux Users' Group, a not-for-profit group
of Linux experts and enthusiasts, is hosting its second Desktop Linux Boot
Camp this August in Terre Haute, IN.  CINLUG hosts two different Boot
Camp tracks: a Desktop focused track and a Server focused track.  The
Server Boot Camp will be held sometime this fall with details to be
announced at a later date.

The Summer 2005 Desktop Linux Boot Camp will be held on Saturday, 
August 13, 2005 from 9 am to 5 pm in room H-226 of the new 
Center for Information Technology at Ivy Tech - Wabash Valley's 
South Campus in Terre Haute.  The Ivy Tech campus is located at 
7999 S US Highway 41, Terre Haute, IN 47802-4845.

CINLUG has hosted many one-day training sessions in the past called
Installfests.  The Boot Camp format is intended to provide more time for 
Linux newbies to grasp the fundamentals of this new operating system.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own PC.  The course will include
instructions on how to install and operate Linux on a network with an 
emphasis on common desktop functions (web browsing, e-mail, office
suites, etc.).

The cost is only $60 and will cover the cost of the free Ubuntu Linux
distribution on CD, handout materials and use of a monitor and other
facilities at Ivy Tech.  Lunch is included in the course fee.
