[Announce] January 4, 2006 CINLUG Meeting at EDS

The January meeting of CINLUG, the Central Indiana Linux Users' Group,
is scheduled for 7PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2006.  The meeting is
being held at EDS (9795 Crosspoint Blvd, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN
46256-3348).

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting.  There will be door prizes and
a general discussion on Linux and related topics.  This discussion is
designed to help newbies (i.e. people fairly unfamiliar with Linux)
become more familiar with Linux, although anyone is free to discuss
whatever Linux related topics they would like.  We will have name tags
at the signin table with 4 categories on them:  Newbie, Basic User,
Advanced User, Expert User.  Members of the CINLUG Board of Directors
(or other Advanced/Expert users) will be on hand to lead the discussion.
If you're currently having a specific problem with Linux or related
software or hardware, feel free to post in our online forums at
www.cinlug.org/forums so we can try to have a solution or suggestion by
the meeting.

The meeting agenda includes:

Call to order
Summary of the board meeting minutes
Discussion of upcoming events
General discussion on Linux and related topics.
Door Prizes drawing
Discussion time
Close of meeting

CINLUG meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month 
They start at 7:00pm and the presentations usually last
about 1 - 1.5 hours. The meeting is usually followed by an
open discusion for any questions you may have about anything.

Donations are accepted throughout the year.  They are _not_ required for
attendance, but are encouraged to help with funding events and expenses.
If you would like to donate to CINLUG, there is a Paypal button
available on www.cinlug.org for your convenience.  Cash and checks are
also accepted at meetings.
